Jessica transforms into a Bali princess for “Singles”

SNSD’s Jessica was able to briefly escape the cold winter climate for the warmth of Bali, thanks to her photoshoot for “Singles” magazine.

Jessica was draped in a unique mix of vivid colors and expressive prints for the ‘jet set’ look. Although she was technically on the clock, the idol was apparently quite relaxed, and felt like the shoot was a brief getaway from her busy schedules.

She received unending praise from the staff for her island princess image, and drew out a variety of poses that emphasized her slim figure.

Jessica Appreciation Post

For many people outside the SNSD fandom and for some new SONES, the one member who seems particularly cold and distant is probably Jessica. Understandably so. On the outside, Jessica can live up to her old nickname- the “Ice Princess“. However, on the inside, Sica is cucumber-phobic, secretly full of aegyo, a YulSic shipper, a pervert, a dork, and a girl who loves her members and friends.

Once when a fan fell down in front of Sica, she helped her and said “Are you okay? Let me help you.”

It really shows that Jessica is not a coldhearted “Ice Princess” but rather- for lack of a better term- a “melted Ice Princess” lol. In every fan’s mind, there’s always the thought, “Is this person who seems nice onscreen really good-natured in real life?” In Jessica’s case, it’s the opposite- seem distant on camera, actually intimate off camera. Even onscreen, it seems like the Ice Princess is really melting. The existence of YulSic is way too obvious

Leeteuk to Jessica "It'd be good if you read books"

Super Junior Leeteuk said to Girl's Generation Jessica "It'd be good if you read some books", humiliating statement attracted huge laughter.

On the 11th broadcast of , a student made an appearance as someone whose able to read a book in a span of 2-3 minutes, and shocked everyone.

After which (,) Leeteuk said to Jessica "It'd be good if you read some books", this sentence turned the shooting scene into a laughing ocean. The flustered Jessica then explained "I like books." which could not be of much help (in actual fact).

In regards to Kang Ho Dong's question "Out of all the books you read, what's the one which left the greatest impression on you?", Jessica replied "The books i read are all foreign books." However being unable to continue (,) she said (and tried changing the topic) "Ah, it's so hot." Using her ageyo to resolve the situation, again making everyone burst into laughter.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

SNSD chooses their best and worst cleaners

While appearing on KBS 2TV’s “Nocturnal“, the girls of SNSD recently chose the two members that cleaned and didn’t clean in their dorms.

Member Hyoyeon was chosen as the best cleaner out of the group, earning the compliments of her fellow members for not only cleaning, but doing the dishes as well.

On the contrary, Jessica was chosen as the member that didn’t clean at all, making her the dirty girl of sorts. Befitting of her ‘ice princess’ nickname, Jessica didn’t even bat an eyelash once chosen, and calmly stated, “I’m not the type to clean,” causing the studio to burst out in laughter over her honest statement.
